HOME OF BRITISH COLUMBIA'S FIRST AFTER SCHOOL KARATE PROGRAM "The Awesome Alternative to After School Care"
The YOSHUKAI INTERNATIONAL KARATE SCHOOL offers a variety of programs for students aged 4.5 years old and up. Each program is designed to provide the best martial arts learning environment for that specific age group by using age specific classes. We offer classes for five basic age groups. The YOSHUKAI INTERNATIONAL KARATE SCHOOL has ten black belt instructors to assist you in your karate and martial arts training. Our flexible schedules have classes being held up to six days a week with up to 38 classes per week at our 3100 square foot facility. Our 2200 square foot sprung hardwood floor provides a large, clean and safe training surface. To allow parents to hear what is being taught spectators are in the same room as the students while class is on. Our viewing area, along side of our main training floor, has tables and chairs for spectators. We do not use contracts. There is no head contact permitted. Competition is not required at our school but if you chose to compete, we offer extensive support and specialized training through membership in Karate BC with Sport BC and Karate Canada with Sport Canada. We have numerous provincial champions/competitors and a number of national level champions/competitors within our programs.
